Waves

In hindsight I probably shouldn’t have worn a skirt to the beach. I won’t lie, it was a struggle to get a picture where my skirt wasn’t flying up with the wind. But all in all, I had a wonderful day today at Bondi Beach with my friend Matt who I met whilst travelling in Europe almost exactly a year ago.

The beach was so quiet and the water was incredibly blue. Almost blue enough to make us forget that it’s the middle of winter and go swimming, but not quite. We ate fish and chips and chatted about Mykonos. All in all a successful lunch date! I threw in a shameless selfie of Matt and I just for funsies. Also because, you know, he took photos of my outfit like a pro.

I have an obsession with this necklace by the way, whenever I wear a high necked shirt you can be sure I’ll have this necklace on too. Also, I really wanted to wear high heeled boots today, but since I’m 6ft in flats I decided against making Matt feel short.

Views

Well as I said in my last post, my friend Paigge and I went to 360 Dining for lunch the other day at Centre Point Tower. I honestly can’t imagine eating lunch in a more beautiful place. At least not in Sydney! The food was incredible of course, especially the dessert (but I’d still prefer my usual diet of Subway and BLT’s over such ‘fancy food’ any day of the week). But it was the view we were there for. And drinking wine and watching our city pass by whilst pointing out our favourite landmarks was an incredible experience.

Dolce Vita dress, Sports Girl sunglasses, Oroton Meyer Hobo bag, ROC boots

Today I went to Centre Point Tower, which is apparently called The Sydney Tower now (who knew?). Anyway I went for lunch with Paigge in the revolving restaurant. I’m not going to lie, I’ve lived in Sydney my whole life and have never before been up in that tower, but it was very much worth the wait. The view was stunning, seriously, we kept forgetting to eat our food because there was just too much to look at and watch.

I’ll post the picture’s I took (and it’s going to kill me having to choose from the hundreds now clogging up my memory card) tomorrow. But for now can we please just bask in the glory that is this dress? I just want to wear it all day every day. There’s something so timeless and classic about white lace. It is simply perfect.

By the way, we decided to shoot next to this wall, because is so freaking kick ass. It’s made of rope guys. Seriously. Rope. I was very transfixed by it. Small minds I suppose?

The arrival of my beautiful Dolce Vita dress

My past month! I’ve been trying to catch up with a lot of friends this month, because everyone is on uni break! So I’ve been having lunch dates and coffee on balconies and even had to buy a diary to try keep up with everything. And now everyone’s flown off to Europe and it seems it’s only me and a couple of my friends left and everything has gotten really quiet. But all the more time to take some awesome outfit posts! I can’t wait to do one with the beautiful Dolce Vita dress I bought, going to make my friend Paigge (of The Indigo Culture) come and shoot that one with me very soon!
